ISOLABLUE, a 49-foot Privilege sailing catamaran, is a masterful build. She is a high-end cruiser designed for luxury living at sea. Please note the crew makes purified drinking water. The design brief for ISOLABLUE demanded luxury interior and exterior spaces that are equally practical and comfortable. Interiors are beautifully executed with elegant built-ins, stylish upholstery and high-quality joinery and finishes. The salon and dining area are spacious and flooded with daylight. Guest relax in comfort on plush, u-shaped seating around the oval dining table. The guest cabins are roomy and well-ventilated. Each is equipped with an individually controlled digital thermostat to ensure the perfect temperature. The large beds measure 5.2 x 6.6 ft and are bedecked in fine linens. Location Details:Depending on the charter expectations of our clients we offer tailor-made itineraries and activities in the Windward Islands. Your sailing charter can be as relaxed or adventurous as you choose. This tropical island paradise is just perfect to escape the rest of the world. Based on Grenada as well as St Vincent & the Grenadines. No delivery fees between these islands. Guests may be able to embark and disembark at the Blue Lagoon Marina in St. Vincent (but not at weekends) Alternatively, the crew suggests to drop off at Young Island, Duvernett Rock, (which is very close to Blue Lagoon) as guests can still swim one last time before leaving the Isolablue and/or visit the Duvernett Rock with a wonderful overview of the reef and the surroundings of southern St. Vincent. A taxi can then go to Argyle Airport, a similar distance to the one they took on arrival to Blue Lagoon Marina.

Meet our Crew
Captain Laurent Geslin
Laurent grew up in Paris, France. Urban life did not deter this water baby, who learned to swim and sail a Laser 420 as a child, and to scuba dive at the age of 12, with level three qualifications at 16 years old. He moved to Switzerland when he was 22 years old, purchased a Laser 2, and spent all his free time trimming the sails on Lake Geneva.
Laurent graduated college with a degree in economics and enjoyed a long career in the Swiss private banking industry as a stock exchange trader and operations specialist. In addition to his job as a banker, he co-owned a dive shop and school on the Lake of Geneva. Laurent is a high-energy individual that thrives on keeping busy, so he also played bass and guitar in a local band. Laurent is a qualified PADI Dive Instructor. He holds Swiss cert. of competence for ocean yachting and the professional BVI Boat Master.
In 2015, Laurent and his wife Astrid decided it was time for a life change. They bought a catamaran and set off to sail the Mediterranean Sea. They skimmed past Gibraltar in 2016, spent two months in the Canary Islands and three months in the Cap Verde Islands before crossing the Atlantic. It was love at first sight when they reached the Caribbean, and they’ve decided to stay for quite a while.
Laurent is an expert Captain who enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for Caribbean sailing with his guests. His motto: living your dream is always better than dreaming your life. Charter ISOLABLUE with Laurent and Astrid. Isn’t it time to live your dream?
Chef Astrid Geslin
Astrid had an enchanting childhood. She grew up with her brother and sister close to Luzern, in the heart of Switzerland, near the Alps and next to the Lake of Lucerne. Nestled in this picture-postcard landscape was her parents’ restaurant. Even as a very young child, Astrid loved to help with the cooking. Growing up cooking, serving and eating fine food proved a joyful inspiration. However, whether they be lakes or seas, water has always been her passion: sailing, diving, windsurfing, and swimming. Astrid is a qualified PADI Dive Master. She also holds Swiss cert. of competence for ocean yachting / BVI Boat Master.
For over 20 years, Astrid worked in Geneva, Switzerland as a Human Resources executive. One of the great benefits was the extensive, international travel the job required to start-up offices in Zürich, Paris, Milan and elsewhere. In between these working adventures, she and husband Laurent spent as much time as possible sailing their boat across the waters of Lake Geneva. Astrid obtained Sailing Certification for Lakes, then passed the Swiss Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting and the BVI Boat Master. It was a perfect time to sail to new horizons.
Astrid is always happy to receive guests and share moments of discovery and joy. “Every charter is a rewarding, new, enriching experience made of encounters, good humor and fun,” says Astrid. “I speak fluent French, English and German, some Italian and Spanish. I try to welcome our guests in their own language and make them feel at home. I’m passionate about fine food from all over the world. My recipes are inspired from Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, but always with a French touch.”
While Astrid’s cooking consistently earns rave reviews, guests needn’t worry about gaining a couple of extra pounds. Astrid enjoys leading a workout, from on-deck yoga to a lap around the yacht, to a go on the water toys. And fun is always her leading motivator.
Astrid was awarded FIRST PRIZE at the Grenada Yacht Charter Show 2018 Culinary Contest! Well done Astrid!!
The specified ingredient was Tamarin juice. Her idea was to create a Tamarin reduction, which she added to all three finger entrees.

GREEN for the fertile land;
YELLOW for the wisdom, sunshine, and warmth of Grenadians and
RED for the people’s courage and vitality. The people here are what make the Island of Spice so unique.

The « Salty Six » are so grateful to you for a magical week in your lovely home. We are so very glad you opened our eyes to St. Vincent and the Grenadines - and WOW !!! How awesome it has been ! Astrid - you are a 5-Star Chef, we are very grateful for all the adaptations you made to accommodate our food needs / dietary restrictions. Every meal was pure magic. Our favorites were the daily juices (particularly guava-banana) and of course the Lolo’s in the evening (Lolo before wine - everything is fine). Mark & Grant loved diving with you Laurent and the snorkelling, particularly in Tobago Cays was remarkable. Mark (& Beth) will always remember being beached on the rock at St. Vincent and is now well aware of the hand signals needed to indicate distress. Jason was in heaven learning about sailing & the boat - and we have the pictures to show it ! Thank you for taking us to the Lobster BBQ - what a fantastic night. But more than all of this, thank you for expertly opening your world to all of us. For the entire week we wanted for nothing and truly felt like we were with family. You are forever in our memories and our dreams as we fondly remember one of the best weeks - EVER !

Wow! Where do we begin? If we had prior expectations they were completely blown away by Astrid and Laurent. From the moment we arrived on board they made us feel welcome and at home. Listening to your stories and knowledge of the islands and sailing adventures kept us all intrigued at every moment.
The passion that you have at this "career" you have masterfully crafted is evident in all that you do. From Astrid's undeniable talent with food that left us all smiling and drooling with each flavor. To Laurent's love for diving that took each one of us on an unforgettable underwater adventure.
To say this was the trip of a lifetime, feels like it does not do enough justice to how truly amazing this week really was. We are all so happy we were able to spend Stephen's 50th birthday celebrating with you this way.

Comments Trip of a lifetime! This was our first experience on a chartered boat, and to say we are now spoiled for all future vacations is an understatement.

Fun hippo fact! Did you know hippos have built in « scuba goggles », from a transparent membrane that covers their eyes when they dive under water. Hip & Blue Blue are all set for their next dive! Speaking of dives, it was such an extraordinary gift to be taken on our first dive. Although it was magnificent, seeing all of the fish and wonders of the sea, it was even more special letting us take part in your life’s passion. We can’t wait to get certified so that we can return to Isolablue for more exciting adventures.
Not only did we enjoy the amazing adventures but also the phenomenal food! Each plate was prepared with such elegance, love and care. We will certainly be attempting (and failing) at making these recipes at home.

We cannot begin to describe the beauty & joy we have experienced during the past 10 days. We
arrived with broken hearts from the passing of a dear family member, we almost cancelled our time with you. Little did we know that the laughter & love you shared with us would be just the healing succour we needed. Being rocket to sleep each night in our cozy berth, exploring the wonders of coral & sea life, waiting on pearly white beaches, sharing laughter & games with friends, Laurent’s humour and ready smile. But mostly, yes, most of all, Astrid’s amazing magic she presented at every meal !!! What a surprise to not only have a 5 star sailing experience… we lived every day on the boat at a 5…. No, 10 star dining experience ! Most of all, we loved becoming friends with you and sharing in the wonderful journey you have created.

As our drawing depicts, we have had the most magical week aboard Isolablue! Some of our favourite things were swimming, turtles, the colorful herons, Jacks, sailing, the sunsets and the stars, the music, the trees, the sun and even the rain! Thank you so very much for your patience, expertise, comfort, generosity and amazing food! Astrid, you’ve opened our family to so much new foods – Maggie says her favourite meal was the Swiss pasta!
We will remember this family adventure forever and will think of your inspiring story of bucket lists often!

Our sons and I booked this charter to celebrate William’s 70th birthday. We didn’t know what to expect, having never chartered a boat let alone been in the Grenadines.
What an amazing treat to come across this exceptional team: Laurent and Astrid.
I am not sure my words will be good enough to describe our sensational experience aboard your beautiful « Isolablue ».
First of all in equal measure, Laurent and Astrid excel in their respective responsibilities and as a team. Laurent your calm and thoughtful approach as a captain/skipper taking us to the stunning islands of the Grenadines, informing us with your stories in each and every place. And as a diving master giving us confidence, patience and sharing your knowledge about the local reef.
Astrid’s magical smile, kindness and her good humour welcomed us to a new beautiful day and your culinary skills has set this holiday on a different level ! We are in awe with every delicious meal she concocted for us. A wizard in the galley ! What an incredible inspired cook and lady you are ! And William’s birthday meal will not be easily erased from our memories - that mango and passion fruit cake - just divine ! WOW and in the middle of the sea !!!
Bequia, Mustique, Union Island but Tobago Cays and the lobster BBQ on the beach - altogether was fantastic. Anse Guyac in Canouan was outstanding - and so much more….
Thank you both so much for your hard work and dedication but also the care that you both took for our safety at all times.

Who had upon it a wonderful crew
Out on the water it’s path was true
And all things seen were new
We enjoyed a Captain’s drink or two
With five star meals that were extremely delicious too
We explored & snorkelled Carriacou
Swam each day in the ocean blue
Our time has come to say goodbye which makes us sad and blue
However we have made friends for life, this is true
