Trip of a lifetime - March 2026

Where do we even begin… how do you put the trip of a lifetime into words?! When you board, they are “the crew” but when you leave, they are friends you’ll remember and talk about forever.
 
Ric kept us constantly laughing and was always good for a joke. He made the best drinks, and when you get to try the coconut margarita, be sure to thank Sara. Definitely needs to be added to the Odyssea’s cocktail menu! He always had the dinghy ready when we needed it - even when we requested a 7am departure time for shell collecting. His prescription sunglasses will forever be part of the pirate’s treasure we search for. He should sleep with one eye open until next April 1.
 
Rox - this trip wouldn’t be the same without you. Your food is second to none - you always knew exactly what we needed and when. Whether it was hangover breakfast burritos or the amazing poke bowls, you constantly left us saying, “we could eat this every day for the rest of our lives.” You are truly the heart of this operation! Keep searching for fresh dill and keep the glow sticks stocked for our next visit.

Captain Dilly Bean - I mean Dylan - is a great leader who always found the best anchorage points and perfect white sand beaches. He knows his stuff and we were lucky to have him as our captain. He was happy to change the itinerary and accommodate us at every turn, while also providing the best suggestions. He was never afraid to join our shenanigans, but always made us feel safe and taken care of. He even helped us pull off a great April Fool’s joke on Ric! Also part of the winning team of the Odyssea Olympics - just ask Ric, who unsuccessfully tried to sabotage us.
 
We’re the luckiest people in the world to have gotten to take this trip. Until next time…

Another amazing trip. From anniversary, to birthday, to a scared head, the trip had it all. Rox & Rick are an amazing addition to the crew. Fishing, food, drinks, etc. the best!! Looking forward to next year!!!

This was our 3rd trip with Dylan, and we are already planning the next one. While there are plenty of other charters out there, I can't see us ever straying from the Odyssea. Rick and Rox were incredible additions to the crew. Rick's sense of humor and quick wit brought so much joy to each day, and Rox's meals were absolutely unforgettable. Cindy definitely wants some of the recipes. Rox, the "Singing Chef"! 

Looking forward to next year and many more adventures together!

Amazing from start to finish... no longer a Willy T's jumper virgin, so glad we jumped together. The food presentation and meals were first class – so delicious and fresh! Couldn't ask for a better crew and sailing experience!

Ric: Always keeping us on our toes with your quick sense of humor! Thanks for teaching us new games (which sometimes was quite difficult after we've had a few of your cocktails). Your hospitality does not go unnoticed and we appreciate everything you did to make this trip unforgettable!
 
Rox: Our Roxstar! Truly blew us away with every meal you made, making it very hard for us to choose our favorite! We will need some of those recipes, even though we won't be able to recreate with your level of finesse. You made us feel so spoiled with 3 delicious meals a day!

Dylan: Thank you for captaining our experience! Your expertise on the BVI is truly so impressive and allowed you to create the perfect itinerary for our family (and helped guide our decision making while we can sometimes be indecisive).
 
This trip was truly a dream! It was a great opportunity for us to spend quality time with our family with a good mix of relaxation, adventure, and partying. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Wonderful experience! Traveling the BVI with the Odyssea team was an experience we'll never forget! Dylan was a top-shelf captain and Rick & Rox did a great job of taking care of us. Rox is an impressive chef! We were never hungry! We loved the snorkelling, the occasional hikes, and the beautiful sunsets!
 
STOP! Just stop making it so difficult... for us to leave. But at least we know it will be short lived. I know we'll be back for a 3rd trip and we just can't wait.

We love the Odyssea - March 2026

This was our 3rd trip on the Odyssea and it was our best trip and it was truly unforgettable. Rox with her fabulous meals, Rick and Dylan with the sailing and so many different anchorages this time. We are always so impressed with the excellent sailing and finding the best spots away from people. We made amazing memories and invite you all to visit us if you get the opportunity. An amazing time exploring, diving & snorkeling! The quiet days on the Odyssea were fantastic! What can we say other than it was the most relaxing vacation ever!
 
The food you cooked each day was exceptional, Rox, delicious!
 
Our group was a mix of abilities and you all took such great care of us all. The laughter, the drinks, the food, the cabins, all exceptional!
We cannot wait to return. We are all so grateful to you all for such an incredible experience.

What can we say other than this really did exceed all expectations! 

Captain Dylan, Ric and Rox were absolutely wonderful! It was the crew who truly made this experience special for all of us. They were so attentive, knowledgable, personable, fun and so incredibly talented at what they do. The food, the sailing, the drinks...We can't ever imagine going on another charter without them. We are just so incredibly grateful it was those 3 lovely people who shared in this experience with us. We cannot thank them enough.

We were all in awe at how Rox and the crew could create such lovely meals for us all in such a small space! The food was delicious, fresh, beautifully presented and was probably the highlight of the whole trip.

There were so many aspects that we all loved on this trip. We spent quality time relaxing, exploring and Dylan was so knowledgable of the area, we relied on his expertise and it was excellent. We loved the emails and our time on board with the crew as well as exploring the BVI. The boat and crew were exceptional! 
The pace was great and Dylan took all aspects of our must see islands and blended that with the weather and created special trip for us. The BVI is a lot of fun to explore and we loved it and loved this crew!

Perfect! Your attention to detail is on par with any of the best hotels in the world. Roxy, we wish you had a published menu so we could fly and eat like this for the rest of our lives. Dylan, you are an excellent captain, bartender and leader... lay off the cookies though, you'll get fat! 😊
 
Rick, you are going to be an excellent captain. Your instincts are great and your attention to guest needs is very, very, very good. Your sense of humor is crap though.
 
Last note: best toilet paper on the high seas!

How did you find your crew? Were they friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating?
▷ All three crew members were fabulous. We would give them all very high marks on all these attributes - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. They were very focused on doing what we wanted and what we liked. They were very enjoyable to be with. They went out of their way to understand what we liked and disliked and adjust the plan to accommodate our feedback. 

Was the yacht comfortable, clean and well ventilated? What was your favorite aspect of the yacht?
▷ The crew took great pride in making sure everything was clean and in good working order. They had a number of very creative ways to make us more comfortable and have easier access to things we used. We did tell them that they needed more ventilation in the outdoor dining area and another step or two on the ladder to get out of the water. They had already planned to address those issues when they had down time. 

Was the food enjoyable and well presented? Did the chef customize the menu to your preferences?
▷ Gi was simply amazing. Her meals were all phenomenal - creative, fresh, very well tasty, healthy . She vetted the menu with us and adjusted to special needs. We really enjoyed her descriptions of the preparation that she gave before each meal. She should create and sell a cookbook!

Did you enjoy the itinerary and the area you sailed?
▷ Very much so. They tailored the itinerary to our requests. They gave us an overview on day 1 and then discussed the plan for the day based on winds, currents etc to make sure we agreed.

Can we use your comments as a reference on our website?
▷ We left several glowing reviews with the crew with authorization for them to post anywhere they choose. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Thank you so much for everything! I have had the best birthday. Dan and I have done this for his 60th and commented that you had big shoes to fill and you did! Perfect amount of interaction and attention to detail. So many memories were made! Hopefully again!

Been everywhere, done that, but what we have experienced this week was truly special. An exceptional and wonderful time. We will be back.
