EQUANIMITY is a 2026 Bali 5.8 sailing catamaran created for spacious, relaxed cruising throughout the British Virgin Islands. With approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of usable deck space, she offers an exceptional sense of openness from bow to stern. Bali’s signature design brings the salon and cockpit together into one expansive indoor-outdoor living area, while the solid foredeck creates a comfortable additional lounge and sunbathing space. Above, the generous flybridge provides panoramic views and an elevated setting for quiet mornings, afternoon lounging, or sunset cocktails.Thoughtfully equipped for extended time on the water, EQUANIMITY is designed as a self-sufficient, solar-powered charter yacht, allowing guests to enjoy the islands with a greater sense of independence and comfort. Bright interiors, multiple gathering areas, and seamless movement between the salon, foredeck, cockpit, and flybridge make her especially well suited to families and groups who want room to spread out without losing the social feel of a shared charter experience.Accommodating up to 8 guests, EQUANIMITY features 1 king primary suite and 3 queen cabins, each with a private ensuite. With generous accommodations, expansive living spaces, and a layout designed to make the most of life outdoors, EQUANIMITY offers a comfortable and beautifully connected home base for exploring the BVI at an easy island pace.

Crew Review from Previous Yacht

I am an experienced US sailor (USCG six-pack license with chartering business for day sailing and lessons) but I needed an ASA 104 certification to do bareboat chartering). Online I found Sailing Virgins as an ideal way to achieve that goal. I did a wonderful 7-day program with them last summer to get the certificate. But I still felt the need to further upgrade my experience and confidence (esp with a catamaran), so I signed up for a new session with Sailing Virgins, this time in St. Vincent. It was absolutely what I wanted and needed: more hands-on, more experience with the throttle for maneuvering, more insights on sail trim, more knowledge about how a catamaran works, etc. Our two instructors, Gegio and Giacomo, were not only delightful companions for a week together on a boat, but also highly professional in their knowledge and ability to explain. And no shouting! Patient instruction. It was esp important how they gently explained things also to my wife, a non-sailor who joined me for the experience. Thank you Giacomo and Gegio!~Thomas F

Beautiful blue skies, warm breezes and a new day of learning and sailing adventure with experts crew ! Perfecto !I came to Sailing Virgins with almost 25 years as the owner, captain and mostly solo sailor of a vintage 30 foot monohull. Yet I knew that it was time for me to access and upgrade my skills. This is why I chose Sailing Virgins for their week of ASA 103, 104 and 114 training in the seas from their St. Martin base.Every day as we shared our evening meal each of us our HIGHS and LOWS for the sailing day just completed.HIGHS... besides on the last day I finally was able to demonstrate my improved sailing skills and even get the MOB exercise right on first try overall my total experience was a HIGH. Every single morning waking up to beautiful blue skies, warm breezes and ready for a new day of learning and adventure. Giacomo and Gegio as our captain and skipper exceeded expectations with professionalism, patience and care to create the opportunity learn and become a better, safer and more confident sailor, with improved and new skills learning the new experience of how to sail a catamaran in the Caribbean seas. I’m grateful to be present on this magic week on the water with Giacomo and Gegio and my fellow sailors. All together we along with Giacomo and Gegio in their own special way created a happy vibe that felt more like family together the week we all shared.LOWS- if there were any, they were the best opportunities to learn to be better!BRAVO Giacomo and Gegio!~Debra Singer

Crew Review from Previous Yacht

I just completed ASA103, 104, and 114 certification in St Martin with Gegio and Giacomo. I could not have imagined a more welcoming and constructive experience than with these two masters of their craft. They gradually stepped up the expectations from all participants throughout the week as our skillsets and proficiency grew, while gracefully and tactfully managing varying degrees of abilities amongst the participants. Gegio and Giacomo provided clear and effective instruction and feedback and really stepped back and allowed students to operate the boat while making us think about our actions prior to execution, giving real-time feedback, and providing input on what could have been done better. These guys have the patience of saints and exemplify calm under pressure as we had some pretty wild seas on our first days when we were still very green. After the week, I feel immensely more confident in my sailing abilities and it is 100% owed to these two gentlemen. In addition to all of that they are fun to be around and super cool guys. 11/10 would absolutely recommend to others.~Andrew H

A Father-Son Sailing Adventure to RememberMy son and I just returned from an incredible week sailing the Caribbean with Sailing Virgins, and I highly recommend them. Our two skippers and instructors, Giorgio and Giacomo, were truly outstanding — patient, attentive, and genuinely fun. They struck the perfect balance between teaching and adventuring, making our time educational and enjoyable. Our fellow crew members were great too.We sailed our beautiful catamaran to multiple anchorages around three stunning islands: St. Martin, Anguilla, and St. Bart. Early March’s strong winds and rolling swells made for demanding sailing -- the best kind of classroom. We came away more skilled, steady, and confident on open water. If you're looking for a trip that combines an intensive, hands-on sailing education with an unforgettable Caribbean adventure, Sailing Virgins is it.~Lars L

Crew Review from Previous Yacht

Giacomo was not only a phenomenal skipper but also someone we trusted completely. He kept us safe through every leg of the journey with confidence and calm, even when water conditions got a bit choppy. His sailing expertise was clear from day one, but what made him truly exceptional was his sense of humor, easygoing nature, and ability to read the group’s energy and adapt accordingly. He became more than just our skipper—he became a true friend and a core part of our experience.
