Exceptional Charter Experience

This was my first time and charter to the British Virgin Island.  The staff made our trip a wonderful experience.  Food was delicious,  boat was clean and beautiful decorated. The staff was very knowledgeable about activities on the islands and gave input on restaurants and hikes. The captain made traveling between the islands smooth sailing. 



Would I do this again,  definitely.  It was truly a wonderful experience and adventure.

"Professional with Perfection" describes our entire experience.  Our Charter Coordinator, Maggie Privat, was extremely responsive to every question and proactive with every milestone in preparation for our charter.  Maggie matched us with the best possible Crewed Charter imaginable. Captain Dani and Chef Mel on "Grace" exceeded any expectations that we had.  They revealed a genuine love of their professions while insuring that we wanted for nothing.  Dani, confidently in command and aware of every happening on "Grace" and , look out foodies, Mel surprised us with five-star food events.  I loved the look on her face while presenting each meal.  All of this while keeping things clean and ship shape.  Like it or not, they have become part of our extended family.  Thanks and hope to see you again soon!

Trip of a Lifetime- Dani and Mel

The trip was fantastic!  The boat was spotless and very comfortable for all of us.  Our crew, Dani and Mel, were very accommodating with our different requests and needs.  Dani's expertise as a captain made us feel very safe and we appreciated her recommendations on the itinerary.

I can't say enough about Mel's delicious meals she created.  The layers of flavor she infused into every dish was deserving of a 5 star restaurant. They kept the boat impeccably clean, our beds made, bathrooms clean, ice chest full with drinks and ice, beautiful tablescapes for our meals, all while keeping us entertained.  It's been a couple of weeks since our trip and I can't stop talking about it.  I will refer anyone interested to you.  In my book it was a trip of a lifetime.

What really made this trip unforgettable was Captain Dani and Chef Mel.

Maggie's communication leading up to the trip was excellent. The 54 Power Cat was amazing - beautifully maintained, comfortable, spacious and smooth! What really made this trip unforgettable was Captain Dani and Chef Mel. The care, expertise and service they provided us was beyond anything we imagined. MarineMax is lucky to have them as part of their team and we could not imagine doing another crewed charter without them. Mel's culinary skills far exceeded any meal that one could have in the islands. Captain Dani had our itinerary planned perfectly and made sure everything was exactly as we had wished. Thank you for helping us experience the magic of the BVIs and we look forward to returning someday soon!!

Mel knocked it out of the park

We just spent five nights on Grace with Captain Dani and Chef Mel. All I can say is wow! What a fabulous time we had to celebrate our friend’s 40th. I have many food sensitivities and Mel knocked it out of the park each and every meal. This was easily one of my top vacations. The “Grace Girls” are the best team in the BVI’s. Thank you for making our time so special. We will be back!

Glorious charter aboard Grace with Captain Dani and Chef Mel!

The 5 days we spent on Grace were the most relaxing, breath-taking, and delicious I have ever experienced in my life. The boat was spacious and well decorated. Captain Dani and Chef Mel are truly the dream team. Captain Dani calmly and efficiently navigated the water to bring us to the most beautiful places. She made sure we were entertained when we wanted to party, brought us to awesome locations when we wanted to snorkel, and assured we were comfortable when we simply wanted to relax. Chef Mel was equally as amazing. I have no idea how she managed to cook such incredible dishes meal after meal, but she consistently did so throughout the entire trip. Every single thing we ate was delectable, and she accommodated to meet each person’s requests & dietary needs. She presented the food beautifully and even varied the table settings throughout the trip. Both Captain Dani and Chef Mel made sure the boat was just as clean as the minute we boarded. I genuinely cannot think of a negative thing to say about our glorious charter aboard Grace with Captain Dani and Chef Mel!

Captain Dani and Chef Mel were amazing

We just spent 5 days on Grace. The boat was spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults very comfortably. Captain Dani and Chef Mel were amazing. From the moment we boarded, they made us all feel so welcome. Captain Dani organized a great charter, knowing exactly what we wanted and needed, even when we were indecisive. Chef Mel made the most incredible food with each meal surpassing the next. We were incredibly blessed to have spent the last 5 days with these 2 incredible ladies! Hands down the best crew! 10/10 would recommend them anyone!

Superb from start to finish

Simply amazing. Superb from start to finish. Dani and Mel have to be magicians. Everything they did for us was magical. It’s a must do if you are looking for a relaxing experience where you are able to do nothing and not even have to think for yourself. Everything just happens for you.

First of all, if you are looking for a Captain that knows these islands, Dani is your girl! 8 of us spent 6 days onboard the 54ft Aquila named Grace. We absolutely loved the boat! Lots of room and all the comforts of home! Captain Dani not only kept us safe but she arranged any onshore or offshore activities we wanted to do! Our happiness was her number 1 priority! Her friend and chef, chef Mia, cooked 3 spectacular meals a day with creativity, flavor, and pure goodness! We will miss being catered to! Our first time in the BVI’s will be one to remember! For sure, we will track down Captain Dani to captain our next BVI MarineMax vacation!

Captain Dani & Chef Mel were a pleasure to be around and their positive energy was contagious every day. They helped each other out in all aspects of a great program and they showed great synergies together.

Captain Dani was very flexible on the itinerary and we changed it up a few times for fun without issue. She is very attentive and kept us safe. She cares about her job and it shows.

Chef Mel is kind of like the “boat mom” in that she is always keeping things tidy and surprising us with outstanding meals. She always challenged herself to bring her A game and she delivered!

The trip was expensive but it was worth every penny. These kind, young, positive & energetic women worked hard for their gratuity but my biggest impression is that they just love what they do.

If you do an all inclusive charter in the BVI, you can’t go wrong with this boat & this team. We had an absolute blast!

Phenomenal experience!

Every second on Grace was a dream come true, phenomenal experience! From the minute we stepped on board Mel and Dani went above and beyond! Everything was top notch the food (omg gourmet) , the service, the daily plans, truly the best. When you wake up to mimosas and fresh croissants daily what could go wrong!! They look care of all of the plans/reservations making it so relaxing and so fun………THE best. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, as long as we have Mel and Dani! ❤️
