HIGH 5 is a 2023 Bali 5.4 sailing catamaran designed for relaxed, spacious island living, with the signature open-concept layout that makes Bali such a favorite for charter. The full-width lifting aft door opens the salon completely to the cockpit, creating one expansive indoor-outdoor living area filled with natural light and panoramic views. Forward, the solid foredeck provides a comfortable lounge and sunbathing area, while the flybridge offers another inviting space to gather, unwind, and take in the scenery from above.
Accommodating up to 8 guests, HIGH 5 features 1 spacious owner’s suite and 3 queen guest cabins, each with a private ensuite. Contract Special ConditionsThe charter fee includes British Virgin Islands (BVI) taxes, fees, permits and/or National Park fees and/or Customs and Immigration fees.
Onboard Wifi is included, however data rates cannot be guaranteed since the yacht is moving and on the ocean.
Should the Charterer have any complaints about the Yacht or the Crew they shall notify the captain in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved within 12 hours, shall notify the Owner in writing through the Broker as soon as possible, who shall try to remedy the matter, the owner shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any complaints which the Owner has not been notified within 48 hrs of the occurrence of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
Travel insurance and Cancellation/Curtailment insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the Charterer.
Crew gratuity (customary 15 - 20% of the Charter Fee for great service) is additional and at the CHARTERER's discretion. This gratuity should be given at the end of the Charter Period and prior to disembarking the Yacht.
Although every effort will be made to maintain the same crew throughout the season, with any crewed Yacht there is the possibility of a Crew change in the lead up to the Charter Period.
Any tandem charter involving multiple yachts requires the guests that paid for a specific yacht and are on that yachts manifest to be the only guests on that yacht during meal services, while underway, and overnight sleeping. This is due to safety and maritime requirements.
CHARTERER accepts responsibility for all guests they bring on the charter regarding any damages, accidents, or injuries in accordance with the contract as if those guests were listed as CHARTERERS on the contract.

Captain Nicolas Olney

Born and raised in Langebaan, South Africa, Nicholas grew up with the ocean as his constant companion. By age five he was already fishing, and by eight he was confidently piloting powerboats along the Cape coastline. This early foundation ignited a lifelong passion for the sea and laid the groundwork for a professional career as a charter captain. Today, Nicholas combines years of maritime experience with a natural enthusiasm for sharing the ocean with others.
Nicholas brings a well-rounded skill set to his role on board. He is a certified Divemaster and accomplished sailor with extensive experience in sport fishing, seamanship, and guest operations. His resume reflects a strong background in both hands-on technical work and guest services, making him equally adept at leading snorkeling adventures, navigating challenging waters, or ensuring every detail of the guest experience is handled with professionalism. His approach balances safety and skill with warmth and approachability, which makes him a standout choice for charter operations.
Known for his humble nature and positive outlook, Nicholas creates an environment where guests feel at ease and fully immersed in the charter experience. Chef Lelani Bright
Chef Lelani's life has been shaped by the sea, travel, creativity, and a love for creating meaningful experiences. Raised around boating adventures in Mauritius, she later joined her high school sailing team in Southern Maryland and became involved with the Sea Scouts, building an early connection to sailing and life on the water.
After beginning her studies in broadcast journalism at American University, Lelani followed her passion for hospitality and transferred to the University of South Florida. There, she rowed on the university crew team and began working professionally in kitchens as a sous chef in the student dining program and at the Embassy Suites on campus.
Her culinary journey later took her to the Caribbean, where she cooked for weddings and events in Saint Croix and completed a culinary and assistant management internship at Scrub Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands. She has also sailed charters throughout Washington, D.C., the Bahamas, Key West, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
Lelani’s cuisine blends influences from Hawai‘i, the Caribbean, and her Afrikaans heritage, creating food that is soulful, colorful, and globally inspired. Her menus are shaped by local ingredients, travel, creativity, and a deep belief that meals should bring people together.
Outside the galley, Lelani enjoys fishing, freediving, surfing, yoga, farming, sustainability, writing, film, and creative arts. Her broad interests, adventurous nature, and heartfelt approach to service bring energy, originality, and warmth to every charter.

Amazing Trip on Hazel Della - 10 out of 10!!!
The four of us had a fantastic week on Hazel Della with Captain Nicholas and Chef Vaughn! What a fun, kind, and knowledgeable team!! It was my husband and my 3rd BVI charter and our friends first and the crew went above and beyond to show our friends the must see spots and to find new ones we had never been too! Captain Nic was a master at getting us the best mooring balls at popular spots (like the Baths) before it got busy, taking us to the BEST snorkeling spots and also incorporating all our wishes into the schedule! He hit it out of the park day after day!! Chef Vaughn presented one fabulous meal after another, and really nailed it with what we liked and the amount of food to serve (which is a skill!!). Captain Nic jumped in several nights to cook and use the onboard grill. We had never had a Captain who also loved to cook!

I rarely write reviews but after an absolutely fantastic trip with Captain Nicholas and chef/mate Vaughn, I am compelled to give them a great review. Captain Nicholas and chef/mate Vaughn were outstanding. The guests were ALWAYS their first priority whether it pertained to activities, food and drink or knowing where to take their guests for the best BVI experiences. They really did pamper us. Wouldn’t let us help with anything. Loved going to all of the different islands. The two of them excelled in their respective roles but also in sharing duties when necessary. We had a great time with them and thank them for their hospitality. Would love to be a part of a future cruise with them. We actually felt like one big family. Captain Nicholas and chef/mate Vaughn, thank you again for the great memories that we will never forget.

Extra Mile
Sitting at our gate to head home after a 7 day private charter aboard Hazel Della in the BVI. Having never done anything like this before, we had no idea what to expect. What an incredible experience! Captain Nicholas Olney and Chef Vaughn Rundle catered to our every need and desire, creating an itinerary especially for us. They met with us prior to the trip to gather our preferences from food to activities to sights. They helped us arrange the travel days with water taxis and land taxis and it was seamless! Captain Nico and co. are scuba dive master for the trip, enhancing our safety. But more than anything, we all loved their hospitality. Everyone was friends and we so enjoyed hanging with them for the week. My one fear was “what if we get a crew that make it awkward to share such personal space?!” With Nick and Vaughn on Hazel Della (50 foot catamaran, 4 bedroom), we had no such concerns. By the end of the week they were family. If you’re looking for this experience, we 10/10 recommend!!

The Best Trip of Our Lives
I have read a lot of the other reviews and there is nothing to add to them. It is simply a beautiful place in the BVIs. It’s magical and breathtaking and you must go on your own catamaran! What set this trip apart for us were our Captain (Nico) and Chef (Vaughn). They made the trip for us. I’m sure the scenery and experience are the same on most boats but you cannot replicate the feeling of spending the week with crew that become more like best friends. They made sure that we had the time of our lives on the Hazel Della and I cannot say enough about how magical they made this trip for me! As I told Nico when I gave them their tip, if I had brought double, I would have given that to them! They are spectacular and this yacht company is lucky to have these two men together on this boat.

50th Birthday Trip

High 5 BVI Adventure
We recently returned from an unforgettable one-week trip aboard the High 5 catamaran in the British Virgin Islands with Captain Westley and First Mate/Chef Leandri. From start to finish, both the food and service were excellent. Our group ranged in age from 23 to 83, and the crew went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and catered to throughout the journey.
We had the pleasure of celebrating our daughter’s 25th birthday during the trip, and Leandri made it extra special with a delicious breakfast and a homemade birthday cake. To top it off, the crew surprised us with a fun karaoke and dance party that evening, creating memories we’ll treasure forever.
Westley and Leandri thoughtfully planned an itinerary that allowed us to visit all the top attractions and fun spots on the different islands, ensuring we never missed a highlight. They balanced adventure with relaxation, taking us to beautiful beaches, lively local hangouts, and scenic viewpoints that showcased the breathtaking beauty of the British Virgin Islands.

We were on High 5 with Wesley and Leann for a week in the BVI's and it could not have been any better. They immediately make you feel like family and made the entire trip awesome! The food was amazing and everything about it was 5 stars! I've done a trip before but Leandri and Wesley brought this up to even higher standards!

Great Vacation on the High Five
We had such a great time, the crew. Lee and Wesley were amazing very knowledgeable about BVI and took us to all the great places. Lee made some amazing food. Each meal was a masterpiece. There was not one thing we didn’t like.
The boat was so well laid out there was room for eight of us to hang out and never got in each other’s way
It was a very windy week that we went, and Westley took the time to make sure that the weather would not get in our way. He had to do some planning, but kept us safe and brought us to the right place on the right days.
Couldn’t ask for a better crew and boat for us to have such a wonderful vacation.
When we were leaving, we were trying to plan when we could do the same vacation again!!!

Wesley was a knowledgeable skipper. The High Five (our chartered catamaran) was clean and well-maintained. Lee prepared world class food. (Fresh, ample and varied dining options for all of our family members, especially those with food allergies). We’ll be back!

This trip was a Bucket List item that I’ve been wanting to do for years! Captain Westley and Chef Leandri helped make this a reality and a trip we will never forget!
From the moment of waking up, they had a coffee or juice at the ready for us! Throughout the rest of the day, they made sure our needs were met.
I had recently been diagnosed with a severe food allergy (that isn’t well known) and Leandri was able to shift gears and ensure that I didn’t have to worry about my allergy. This level of care allowed me to focus on the trip and the experience. This meant the world to me, and I’ll forever be grateful! The food was next level, varied, and delicious! While I’m not a big seafood person, she is the reason I now like Tuna!
From the get go, I could tell right away that we were in safe hands with a knowledgeable captain who loves what he does. He was very patient and answered any questions that we had relating to the trip, the boat, the islands, etc. This type of vacation can make or break a trip, depending on the captain, I can say with confidence that we would feel safe and enjoy ourselves if we were to sail across the Pacific Ocean with this crew!
We look forward to booking another trip with the Yacht Vacation Company and without a doubt request that our new friends, Westley and Leandri, be the crew that makes another trip memorable!

We had Captain Westley and Leandri who were the absolute best. Captain Westley was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We had several allergies onboard and Leandri took all of them into account and still managed to make the BEST meals! We would absolutely recommend them and the company was great as well.
Family Vacation aboard the High 5
Our family of five spent a week aboard the High 5 catamaran over Christmas. The kids are 22, 19 and 16. It was definitely one of our most memorable, and our most favorite vacations! Our hosts were absolutely superb! Leandri was an amazing chef who cooked and tailored all of her meals towards our wants and needs. Westley was a fantastic captain and really showed us a great time around the islands.
We can’t wait to do it again!!!!!
