The Salty Six have all made it back home safely.  I wanted to personally let you know how much our week together meant to me.  It was more than a vacation, it was an experience I will treasure forever.  Your love for sailing and creating delicious meals is contagious and shows in everything you do. Your story of how isolablue came to be is inspiring.  Your patience when we asked a million questions was wonderful and allowed us to learn more about the sailing world. I feel blessed to have met you and getting to know you a little was just as wonderful as all of the beautiful sights we saw. If you ever find yourselves in Arkansas we would be honored to host you.  A tout a l’huere. (Sorry, I don’t know how to make my keyboard do accent grave where it belongs) :)

The « Salty Six » are so grateful to you for a magical week in your lovely home. We are so very glad you opened our eyes to St. Vincent and the Grenadines - and WOW !!! How awesome it has been ! Astrid - you are a 5-Star Chef, we are very grateful for all the adaptations you made to accommodate our food needs / dietary restrictions. Every meal was pure magic. Our favorites were the daily juices (particularly guava-banana) and of course the Lolo’s in the evening (Lolo before wine - everything is fine). Mark & Grant loved diving with you Laurent and the snorkelling, particularly in Tobago Cays was remarkable. Mark (& Beth) will always remember being beached on the rock at St. Vincent and is now well aware of the hand signals needed to indicate distress. Jason was in heaven learning about sailing & the boat - and we have the pictures to show it ! Thank you for taking us to the Lobster BBQ - what a fantastic night. But more than all of this, thank you for expertly opening your world to all of us. For the entire week we wanted for nothing and truly felt like we were with family. You are forever in our memories and our dreams as we fondly remember one of the best weeks - EVER !

Once again, you have created a magical space for us to spend precious time together as a family. You are so intentional in how you take care of us - it leaves a beautiful, indelible mark on our family. This trip, we loved that Laurent introduced our girls to the wonders of scuba diving. I think his patient teaching opened up a new passion for them. His open, easy smile will stay with us until we are with you again. And to our Astrid, who my daughters think may be an angel, thank you for every single thoughtful meal and detail. Thank you for your sage advice to our girls. I am ready to go home with renewed aspiration to prepare meals with creativity and love. You are two of our most favorite people and we can’t wait to see you again.

This has been the best trip. I loved celebrating Laurent’s birthday dinner. I hope that we can come back and get scuba certified next year (if possible). You both are amazing people that are very welcoming. I have never had a bad moment on this boat. Thank you for making an amazing environment and my favorite vacation.

Wow!  Where do we begin?  If we had prior expectations they were completely blown away by Astrid and Laurent.  From the moment we arrived on board they made us feel welcome and at home.  Listening to your stories and knowledge of the islands and sailing adventures kept us all intrigued at every moment.

The passion that you have at this "career" you have masterfully crafted is evident in all that you do.  From Astrid's undeniable talent with food that left us all smiling and drooling with each flavor.  To Laurent's love for diving that took each one of us on an unforgettable underwater adventure.

To say this was the trip of a lifetime, feels like it does not do enough justice to how truly amazing this week really was.  We are all so happy we were able to spend Stephen's 50th birthday celebrating with you this way.

The vibrant colors of the Caribbean waters, the lush landscapes, the curious underwater creatures, and the ever welcoming friendly locals will stay with us all.

Comments	As far as a our first boating experience we didn't have any thing to compare but now after sailing on the Isolablue for a week it blew any expectations we had out of the water. Overall the layout of the boat and seating areas was very comfortable and perfect for our group.

Comments	Astrid and Laurent picked up very quickly that we were a very laid back group and looking for relaxing, serene and peaceful landscapes. They planned the itinerary to showcase just those features, showing off the beautiful Caribbean islands and how peaceful and beautiful on land and water.

How would you qualify the sports and leisure activities/equipment on board	5/5

Comments	We were mainly interested in snorkeling and trail dives, which Laurent offered successfully and took us to the best spots to enjoy those activities.

How would you qualify the food and drinks	5/5

Comments	Not one bad thing to say about the food or drinks! The food was like artwork every time a dish was prepared and tasted amazing. The drinks offered whether it be one of Laurents tasty Rum cocktails, or an ice cold beer were top notch!

How would you qualify the entire experience of your trip	5/5

Comments	Trip of a lifetime! This was our first experience on a chartered boat, and to say we are now spoiled for all future vacations is an understatement.

PLEASE ADD ANY OTHER COMMENTS:	Astrid and Laurent individually are amazing people at the services they provide, together they are even more amazing and a great team. They made us feel like we were travelling with lifelong friends, from the evening stories, to drinks on deck watching the sunsets and listening to their own adventures through the years. They truly showcased the beauty of the Caribbean islands and introduced us to some wonderfully friendly locals.

Our family had no idea of what to expect on this trip.  Here's what we didn't expect:

A very cool couple with a lifetime of unique experiences, sharing their home with  us

A gastronomical journey from meal to meal, with amazingly unexpected flavours for a family of 4, who each love to cook in our own ways, it was truly inspiring!   (You made me enjoy foods I usually hate - Drew).

Patience and understanding with a new diver, and expert guidance to the best dive spots for the 3 of us who have certification

Willing spoon players late into the evening.

What an unforgettable experience, from the moment we stepped on board Astrid and Laurent made us feel like honored guests and old friends in their wonderful  home.  We had the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.  From magical snorkeling moments to some of the most amazing meals we've ever had - let alone at sea!  Every day felt effortless, because of the attention to detail.   Your warmth and genuine care made this trip truly special.  Thank you for your kindness, passion and humor.  We will treasure these memories.  Scott's 45th bucket list trip is one that will stay in our heart.

Dear Astrid & Laurent,

Thank you for making our first charter so amazing! Your hospitality and kindness helped make this trip truly memorable. 

Fun hippo fact! Did you know hippos have built in « scuba goggles », from a transparent membrane that covers their eyes when they dive under water. Hip & Blue Blue are all set for their next dive! Speaking of dives, it was such an extraordinary gift to be taken on our first dive. Although it was magnificent, seeing all of the fish and wonders of the sea, it was even more special letting us take part in your life’s passion. We can’t wait to get certified so that we can return to Isolablue for more exciting adventures. 

Not only did we enjoy the amazing adventures but also the phenomenal food! Each plate was prepared with such elegance, love and care. We will certainly be attempting (and failing) at making these recipes at home. 

Thank you both again hosting this unforgettable journey. At the beginning of this trip we were merely strangers, and now we are elated and grateful to part as friends.

Our 10 day cruise with you exceeded all expectations in every way. The Grenadines are so beautiful - every day was super.You are amazing sailors - always felt safe and your local knowledge of the islands is amazing. I was not expecting to experience such gourmet food. All of the dishes served were better than any restaurant. Isolablue is a fantastic catamaran - great sailing days and comfortable sleeping - beautiful woodwork everywhere below decks. Thank you so much for a very special time. R

We cannot begin to describe the beauty & joy we have experienced during the past 10 days. We

arrived with broken hearts from the passing of a dear family member, we almost cancelled our time with you. Little did we know that the laughter & love you shared with us would be just the healing succour we needed. Being rocket to sleep each night in our cozy berth, exploring the wonders of coral & sea life, waiting on pearly white beaches, sharing laughter & games with friends, Laurent’s humour and ready smile. But mostly, yes, most of all, Astrid’s amazing magic she presented at every meal !!! What a surprise to not only have a 5 star sailing experience… we lived every day on the boat at a 5…. No, 10 star dining experience ! Most of all, we loved becoming friends with you and sharing in the wonderful journey you have created.

Some of our favourite things were swimming, turtles, the colorful herons, Jacks, sailing, the sunsets and the stars, the music, the trees, the sun and even the rain!
