Captain Fabrizio Fassbind
Originally from Switzerland, Captain Fabrizio brings a calm, confident presence to the helm along with extensive experience cruising the Caribbean. Since beginning his captaincy career in 2017, he has delivered and operated both sailing and power yachts throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean, with particular expertise in the waters of the British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
Before entering the yachting industry, Fabrizio trained and worked as an aircraft mechanic, a background that developed his meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and commitment to safety. These qualities continue to shape his approach as a captain, ensuring smooth operations and peace of mind for guests onboard.
Fabrizio holds an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification and has extensive experience managing charter operations, vessel maintenance, and crew coordination. His knowledge of the region allows him to guide guests to hidden beaches, vibrant island bars, and unforgettable snorkeling spots, creating itineraries that balance adventure with relaxation.
Fluent in English, German, and Swiss German, Fabrizio’s approachable personality and professional leadership help guests feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they step aboard.
Chef Janey Bryant
Chef Janey is a talented South African yacht chef with over eight years of experience in hospitality and charter yachting. Known for her warm personality and calm, professional approach, she takes great pride in creating memorable dining experiences that are tailored to each group of guests.
Janey has worked as a sole chef aboard several charter catamarans in the Caribbean, preparing meals for both guests and crew while also assisting with deck operations and yacht management. Her experience includes provisioning in remote locations, designing custom menus, and delivering consistently high standards of service.
Her culinary style focuses on fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and beautifully presented dishes inspired by global cuisine. Whether preparing elegant multi-course dinners or relaxed family-style meals, Janey enjoys creating dishes that are visually striking, comforting, and perfectly suited to the yachting lifestyle.
Having previously worked in high-end hospitality serving VIP clients, she brings exceptional attention to detail and guest care to everything she does.
Outside the galley, Janey enjoys diving, photography, and exploring new culinary inspiration. Her positive energy, creativity, and dedication to guest satisfaction ensure that every charter is both delicious and unforgettable.

What an amazing trip! The food was out of this world amazing! Chef, you are phenomenal and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Captain, you are amazing. You made everything we did fun. The trip actually felt like we were four couples who rented a catamaran for a week to sail the Exumas. You two were more like great friends than crew to us!
Thanks for showing us all the islands have to offer, answering our questions and getting us safely back to home port. It was an adventure we all loved and made a couple new friends in the process.
We wish you two the best in future business ventures, life, family, and making your dreams come true. No bad feedback, only good and great memories!

Thank you so much for the most incredible trip! So grateful to get to do another charter. Chef, the food was amazing and I’m only bummed to have to go back to LA food after this. Everything tasted so good and always looked amazing and so pretty.
Captain, thank you for all the delicious drinks, taking us to snorkel/explore and for helping me figure out the hydrofoil. Every second of this trip has been so special and you both are such amazing people to be around.

What an amazing way to start 2026! We had such a blast last year that we knew we would have another incredible week together, however it exceeded all expectations! We truly feel you are part of our family.
Chef, your food is absolutely off the charts amazing! We ate so well and loved everything so it’s hard to name my favorites however I know I will need to go on a diet when I get home. Your food is so delicious, healthy and made with love that I enjoyed it all (I didn’t want to miss anything).
Captain, your cocktails every night for sunset and your fabulous humor are so appreciated. You make everything so much fun! The laughs during Code Names were the best — I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time.
Everything we did made the whole experience so memorable and you were both an inspiration for our kids as they navigate their way in the world.
Thank you for yet another wonderful charter!!! I hope we will stay in touch and see you in either France or Boulder!!!

Thank you both so much for another incredible charter!! We truly had the best time exploring the Exumas. I will definitely be missing your amazing food, Chef, but can’t wait to return to San Francisco and test out my sourdough making abilities. Maybe I’ll even end up at Ballymaloe :)

Our first time in the Exumas and it exceeded all of our expectations! The boat was perfect, the water was beautiful and the weather was great…. But most importantly Nik & Lily hit it out of the park! What an incredible job they both did on this charter. The food, the service, the fun - everything about them made this trip extra special! We haven’t even left the boat yet but were looking at dates for 2027 to rebook! Cant wait to see you guys again in the future.

We traded the money for the memories and what incredible memories we have now made. This journey through the Exumas was nothing short of magical. From swimming with the nurse sharks, feeding iguanas, strolling powdery sandbars, and amazing food; every moment was a dream come true.
Captain Nik and Chef Lily- Your hospitality, heart, and humor made this amazing adventure that much more extraordinary. The food, the cocktails, and attention to detail was top tier. We felt the love from the beginning. We will always remember our beach lunches and all our other incredible meals.
There are good ships and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.

What a week! This is our second trip aboard and it WILL NOT BE OUR LAST! This week was all first and we had such a blast. It was amazing to see the crew in a completely different element from when I came aboard with my family and how well they adapted to the different atmosphere of our group. Lily our food & service is beyond! You have such an amazing talent. I cant decide what meal was my favorite as they just kept shocking me. Nik you were such a trouper putting up with us girls. You kept us safe, informed, and so entertained. WE LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE! You both are truly the best and we love spending the week with you both.
