PurelyBlu — what can we say… best charter ever!! 

We had a fantastic time! Starting with the PurelyBlu owners stepping up to offer us a charter for our week after our charter that had been booked for a year was cancelled at the last minute! Thank you so much to the owners and the crew!

The PurelyBlu is a beautiful boat — fantastic layout with big bathrooms and great water-making ability! The Tenderlift at the back of the boat was amazing, especially for us older folks! It made it so easy to get in and out of the water.

Very comfortable areas on the boat, behind the captain and in front — great for lounging! And the back table was perfect for eating and games!

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Slept like a baby! We will definitely miss being rocked to sleep every night!

But it was our crew who made our vacation so very special — they were both absolutely amazing. Captain Sammy was so knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable on the boat. He has great southern charm, and is funny and entertaining. He took us to some AMAZING spots and was always quick to remind us that this was our vacation and he wanted to make it special for us. And he did!

Chef Marisol is an exceptional chef. Her creativity, flavors, and presentation made us feel like we were at a 5-star resort every day. She was very conscientious about our food likes and dislikes, and every meal was so special, just for us. 

She worked tirelessly to make sure we were well taken care of.

Can't wait to charter again… and hope it's with this crew!

Spring Break family charter

We booked PurelyBlu for a family vacation over Spring Break, and it honestly exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made us feel completely taken care of — nothing was too much to ask, and they genuinely seemed to love what they do.

The food alone was worth the trip. Every meal felt like an experience — fresh, beautifully presented, and somehow exactly what we were craving. The kids were just as well fed and happy as we were.
But the highlight? The pirate scavenger hunt. Our kids (ages 4 and 7) are still talking about it. The crew went all out — treasure maps, clues hidden around the boat, the works. It wasn't some generic activity to keep the kids busy. It was thoughtful, creative, and had our kids absolutely losing their minds with excitement. They felt like real pirates on a real adventure, and my husband and I got to just sit back and watch them have the time of their lives.

Between the incredible snorkeling spots, the water toys, and the most stunning anchorages, every single day felt like its own little adventure. PurelyBlu doesn't just run a charter — they create an experience your family will never forget. 

We're already talking about when we're going back.

PurelyBlu is like a 5 star resort at sea. 

What can I say but that it has been such
a magical experience for each and every one of us. We knew from the moment
we boarded the catamaran that we were in very capable hands with Captain
Sammy. 

The ride to Exumas was very choppy and unsettling and Sammy put us
all at ease, and reassured us that all would be fine… and it was!! He is
incredibly skilled and knowledgeable… he took us to the best places and
showed us the most interesting sites. 

Our children especially enjoyed chatting and playing with Captain Sammy to the point where he even got roped in to spoon feeding their dinner!! We cannot thank him enough for his incredible
hospitality.

Chef Marisol elevated our PurelyBlu experience to another level! With only 3
months tenure on the boat, she has managed to create an exceptionally high
quality culinary experience for her guests… and with such a small kitchen too!!
Every meal, every snack, everything she put her hands on was made with love.
We thoroughly enjoyed every dish because they were light, fresh and bursting
with flavour. Marisol truly has a gift for cuisine and we love how she infuses
her Mexican heritage in what she prepares. Nothing was too much trouble for
her and we truly loved and appreciated everything she did for us and the kids.

Highlights
Pirate Treasure Hunt
What an awesome idea!! The children absolutely loved the treasure hunt.
Marisol and Sammy were dressed as pirates and the kids got so excited running
around looking for clues. They especially loved the treasure chest full of treats
at the end. Thank you for organising such a fun activity for them.
We loved the lazy river experience in Shroud Cay and swimming through the
“washing machine” and exploring the mangroves and looking for turtles.

these last few days. We cannot tell you enough how nice it feels to not have to
think about or do anything but hop on board and enjoy the ride, the food and

It was the trip of our lives

El día finale. ¡Estamos tristes! Es fue el viaje de nuestras vidas. ¡Tenemos dos
amigos nuevos! [Translation: The final day. We are sad! It was the trip of our
lives. We have two new friends!]

We tried all the toys. Saw shark wrecks. Spear fished and ate what Sammy
caught! 

We sunbathed. We burned. We ate. We drank. We laughed. Played
games. Watched a great documentary. We overcame fears, tried new things.
Probably some of the best family bonding of any trip! 

Marisol & Sammy are a fabulous team. They were prepared for the day to day and some surprises too! Our kids felt celebrated, as we wanted them to be. Overall, there is nothing to
criticize.

It was a great week, we will be talking and bragging about for years to come.

Best vacation ever!! It was so much fun, I learned so many new things. I did
things I never thought I would do like swim with sharks, e-foil and wakeboard,
and got way better at throwing the football!! These two truly are a dream team
and I have laughed + smiled this week more then ever before! Watch out
though!! Captain Sammy might make you laugh to hard + Marisol might make
you too good of food!! So enjoy, because at the end you’re going to miss it so so
much!

Kids’ Tips & Notes

The sharks are just big puppies!

Don’t under-estimate Captain Sammy — He found a spear tip that had been
missing for weeks!

Marisol may be a great cook, but she’s also a shark whisperer, wake-boarder,

wind-surfer, rock-climber, free diver, & spear-fisher!

Try the sea scooters! They’re pretty cool…
