We Cannot Recommend this Crew Enough!

We had the most incredible week with Tom & Nicola on the Sea Dog! 

From the moment you met us off the mooring, we had every need met. 



Not only did Nicola prepare 3 beautiful meals each day, she managed to prepare a simplified version for the children or, in some cases, something completely different and special for them! We really loved being surprised each time we were called to eat. 



Tom was tireless each day taking us to 2 and 3 new spots and filling our days with adventures and special activities to keep it super fun for the kids. We had a couple of windy days and Tom made sure he had us in just the perfect place to enjoy the days. Each time we settled in, Tom got all the paddle boards and water things out so we could snorkel & swim. We all felt safe with their skills & knowledge. They even remembered to celebrate Brad’s birthday our last night!



I was a bit worried about bringing my kids on a boat for 7 days (I have a 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter). Tom and Nicola went above and beyond ensuring my kids were entertained and well cared for. Nothing was too much trouble. 



The food was incredible! I don’t think I could pick a favorite meal—every dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Nicola made sure the kids had foods they liked onboard. Tom happily explained the boat navigation to my son and Nicola allowed my daughter to help prepare meals. 



The slingshot and tubing will definitely be core memories. We cannot recommend this crew enough. We had a lovely trip!

Truly Remarkable

We are a bit older than many before us - no kids, slightly injured ,so enjoyed peace, quiet and wonderful company.



Tom & Nicole made our trip truly remarkable – not our first charter, but our first to BVI. The boat, Sea Dog, was great, and we developed such confidence in Tom & Nicola’s capabilities to handle the boat.



As you know by now, Nicola is quite the chef! Would love to take her home with us but would weigh 300 lbs! Sailing to far out to Anegada for lobster, finding tiny coves to watch sunsets, great music, watching them work as such a good team.... made our trip so delightful.

Best Charter Experience

Thank you so much for the best first charter experience we could ask for. You both went above and beyond with the views, sailing, water sports, and most importantly, the food. We had a couple of interesting dietary requirements and Nicola absolutely nailed every single meal. Pretty sure we all somehow managed to gain weight even with the endless hours of swimming/snorkeling.



The other thing that was truly special was to be able to share Alyssa and Garett’s bow vows. This was something we dreamed of and we can not thank you enough for making the day so special. It was a once in a lifetime trip for all of us. We loved it so much that we are trying to figure out how to do this again every year.

You both are just WOW!

To begin our charter with one of the most outstanding meals any of us have ever had is in itself. The accommodation by you both from that moment on only continued in a class of high marks. 

The slingshot for sure will become a core memory, I am certain. We appreciate you both playing with us; I hope 'speed bump' forever lives on in your lifetime and the commentary only becomes more epic.Which also, thank you for randomly acquiring a deck of cards in the cloak of night and further bringing a second fishing rod to fruition magically the following morning - We most definitely noticed all the efforts.



For punctuation do not overlook how great a team you two are. We are very much looking forward to our wedding invitation that you both yet deny. Between then and now, expect an incoming care package and if you'll have us again expect us to rebook and follow you to whichever boat you may be on at the time.



Our apologies for disturbing your lobster babies sanctuary. Yet thank you still for showing us it!



We should also apologize for being your best charter so early on. If another group comes close to touching us, give them our contact. Big Deals have to align :)

I fear our trip to the BVI might never be topped! Capt Al and Iona were perfect hosts to welcome us to the islands for the first time. We all agree if you can do one vacation - do this one! Fantastic Hosts!

Al and Iona were fantastic hosts from their friendliness to attention to detail they display a driven desire to please that is truly second to none.

Every meal was perfection and the presentation was absolutely beautiful!!

One For The Books!!

Thank you Captain Al and Iona for making our spring break trip one for the books! Since we'd never chartered before, we were uncertain about the kids being able to handle it! To our delight they absolutely loved every minute. Every day we heard "this is the best trip ever", "I wished everyone cooked like this"



We played, swam and made so many new and special experiences, so its safe to say its a trip we will never forget!
