The food is amazing and the captain is skilled and very knowledgeable. He also helped us solve a mystery or two. 😉😉😉 ask him about Sherlock Holmes.

What A Wonderful Experience!

We just finished a 6-day charter aboard Sol Seeker. What a wonderful experience! Nikki and Scott will pamper you. Delicious meals. Many water toys. Watching Super Bowl on the foredeck with popcorn with M&M's! Rum tasting with chocolate pairing and a customized itinerary! The boat is clean and very nice. StarLink WiFi included. A snack tray always full of small bags of snacks. Bar stocked to meet your special tastes. Learning to play Skull King, And they are both great company!

We just returned from an unforgettable 7-night charter aboard Sol Seeker through the US and British Virgin Islands, and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.



**Captain Scott** exceeded every expectation. His knowledge of the islands was extraordinary - he didn't just sail us from point to point, but curated each day's itinerary based on wind conditions, our interests, and hidden gems only a seasoned local would know. Whether navigating the challenging passages between islands or finding that perfect secluded anchorage, Scott's expertise was evident. Beyond his sailing skills, he was an exceptional tour guide who brought the history and culture of each island to life. His easygoing nature and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like we were sailing with a friend rather than a hired captain.



**Chef Nikki** transformed our charter into a true culinary adventure. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. She accommodated dietary preferences seamlessly while incorporating fresh, local ingredients and Caribbean flavors. From sunrise coffee service to gourmet dinners under the stars, Nikki's attention to detail and creativity in the galley were remarkable. The fact that she produced such exceptional cuisine in a boat galley is a testament to her talent.



The Sol Seeker catamaran itself was immaculately maintained, comfortable, and perfect for exploring the Virgin Islands. The combination of Scott's expertise, Nikki's culinary skills, and the beauty of the USVI/BVI made this a truly exceptional vacation.

Sol Seeker is a very comfortable and well-maintained boat. It is our second time on the boat and the owner/operators have kept it in excellent condition.



How would you describe your crew? Were they courteous? Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable? Accompanied you on your activities/land excursions? Wore uniforms and acted professionally?

Scott is incredibly knowledgeable, an experienced captain, a kind and patient soul, and so much fun! Nikki is a brilliant chef, tender-hearted friend, experienced crew, and overall wonderful addition.



Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets?

The food was healthy, delicious, and creative. Our plates were empty at every meal. I especially appreciated the extra effort to find a wine we liked that was somewhat elusive on the islands.



How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?

The itinerary and pace were perfect for our needs. I wouldn't have changed one thing.

A Trip We Will Always Treasure

We had the absolute pleasure of being on Sol Seeker with Captain Scott and Chef Nikki for our honeymoon/babymoon. The trip from start to finish was absolutely perfect. 



From snorkeling, and fishing to just soaking in the beautiful views we enjoyed every part of this experience. I am a very picky eater but Chef Nikki’s food was incredible even to the point where I was looking forward to breakfast every morning and I never eat breakfast. 



Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better trip with better people. This is a honeymoon we will always treasure and remember thanks to Sol Seeker and Scott and Nikki!

Best Trip Ever on Sol Seeker!



Our recent boat trip on the Sol Seeker with Captain Scott and Chef Nikki,  was seriously amazing – the best boat trip we've ever had! We've been to the US and British Virgin Islands lots of times and done other boat charters, but this one was top-notch.

Chef Nikki's food was incredible. Every single meal, from breakfast to dinner, plus snacks and desserts, was so good and looked beautiful. We had fresh fish, delicious meats, and a super fun 4th of July dinner with cool decorations.



Captain Scott was awesome too. Whenever we wanted to go somewhere, he was ready in seconds to take us and always there waiting to pick us up. The Sol Seeker boat itself is really nice and super clean, with comfy rooms.

Don't miss these fun things:

* The rum and chocolate tasting with Captain Scott – it's a must-do!

* The special movie night where they project a movie on the front of the boat and you watch it outside.

* And a huge plus – the air conditioning works great!

Scott and Nikki took such good care of us. If you're going to the USVI/BVI and want an amazing boat trip, definitely book the Sol Seeker

We just returned from an incredible week aboard Sol Seeker with Scott and Nikki, and we can’t say enough great things about our experience.



As seasoned BVI travelers, we came in with a specific itinerary in mind, and Scott and Nikki helped us achieve it seamlessly—while also adding some amazing recommendations we’d never have discovered on our own. Thanks to them, we had the best snorkeling of our lives, including unforgettable swims with two sharks!



Scott is an outstanding captain who made us feel safe and relaxed the entire time, and his rum and chocolate tasting was a highlight of the trip—so fun and memorable.



Nikki is an incredible chef who amazed us daily with unique, healthy, and delicious meals. She even handled a picky eater in our group with absolute grace, adjusting meals without missing a beat. We also had some specific provisioning requests, and Scott and Nikki totally crushed it.



Beyond their skill and professionalism, Scott and Nikki’s love for each other, for sailing, and for their boat shines through in everything they do. They brought so much joy and magic to our trip, and by the end of the week, we felt like we’d made friends for life.

Sol Seeker is absolute perfection. The front porch area with shade was a huge perk and such a special feature. The boat was spotless, plus Nikki cleaned daily to keep the boat feeling fresh throughout the trip.

Scott and Nikki are a special couple/ crew. They were beyond helpful and courteous when we had some specific requests ahead of the charter and were incredible with adapting to itinerary changes and a picky eater we had on board. They were so knowledgeable, kept us safe, had the cutest uniforms and acted professionally.

Nikki crushed the food game! We had a picky eater, some specific requests and desires, and her food was perfect for our group. Great portions, healthy, nutritious, island flavors, all the goods!

Amazing Trip!

AMAZING TRIP! Talk about great food, fun and relaxation. This is the only way to do a vacation! 

Nikki and Scott, thanks  for the best time ever! We have done two other yacht rentals and this one was by far the best! We had a party of 4 (sisters and hubby’s) Great accommodation’s, lots of sun, sailing, drinks, water toys, sea life, and beautiful beaches and did I mention the food? 



Additionally, we know have two new friends who took us into their home and pampered us the whole week! Scott set up the Big screen on the front of the boat so we could watch/listen to the OKC Thunder win the playoffs and another night we watched Captain Ron and Nikki made homemade popcorn with M&M’s in it!!! 

We have so many photos and videos with our underwater camera and their go pro! Can’t wait to book another trip! You will not be disappointed if you book with Sol Seeker and this great couple as your Captain and Chef! Have way more pictures but go go go do this and you won’t be disappointed! They had many recommendations and history of the islands

Best Trip Of My Life at 50!

I wish i would have taken this vacation before I turned 50. Maybe it was because Nikki and Scott spoiled us so much, or because all the places they took us were amazing. But combined, this was the best trip I have ever taken in my life!

From the amazing food and drinks Nikki prepared from sunup to sundown, the comfy beds, the energy Scott provides the guests, especially with the kids (snorkeling, knee boarding and evening games), and getting to drive the boat (trying to make Scott walk the plank like a scurvy pirate), this trip is easily a 10 out of 10.

I read this quote right before I booked our trip “don’t worry about the price, the memories will be priceless”… that is an understatement.

We are already planning our next trip on Sol Seeker!

The Right Blend of Relaxation and Adventure.

I had a trip of a lifetime on Sol Seeker, a 44-foot Leopard cat with Captain Scott and Chef Nikki in March 2025. 

Their hospitality, friendliness and skills were so natural. The snorkeling was terrific, the meals were perfection, the sailing was fun and the trip had the right blend of adventure and relaxation. It was a great introduction to the BVI and catamaran sailing.

Great Choice to Choose a Crewed Charter

We went on our first sailing charter in the BVIs! 

I'm sharing highlights if you are considering this trip, hope this helps you as the many reviews I read from others helped us decide on our trip:



1- We decided on a crewed charter with Captain and Chef - I thought the value was well worth the extra cost - no need to plan for meals, moorings, etc. Everything was set for us to enjoy the day every day! Scott and Nikki were our gracious captain and chef, highly recommend them specifically!!!



2- They are very aware of dietary restrictions and were able to accommodate for celiac! They have their own dietary restrictions so this was a big bonus for me to be able to do a “small boat” (vs cruise) and not have to worry



3- We had a mix of people that were interested in sailing/ learning and those that weren’t and they were flexible to get those that wanted to be involved as much or as little as they preferred



In short, we had a great time with a great chef, Nikki, wonderful captain, Scott, on Sol Seeker,

What a wonderful trip on Sol Seeker. From the minute we were greeted on deck we felt at home with the whole environment which was impeccably clean, and quite spacious for the 6 guests. We never felt crowded, there was always somewhere to go to get more (or less) sun, wind, or company. 

Captain Scott and Chef Nikki offered just the right mix of being hosts and leaving us to our own private time. The entire week was incredibly relaxing, being pampered by Scott & Nikki. It's amazing the meals she was able to prepare in a boat galley, and dinner times were all uniquely specialized to the activities of the day. Scott fit right in on our snorkeling and shore activities, being a perfect guide. By the end of the week we all felt like one big "Skull King" family. 

Highly recommended.

Where To Begin!

I'm not even sure where to begin!  This trip was something out of my comfort zone and I was definitely anxious about how things would go. Within minutes of meeting Captain Scott and Chef Nikki and stepping onto the Sol Seeker, I felt at ease and the excitement of what was to come took over the anxiousness.

The food was amazing and Nikki was more then accommodating for my pickiness and made sure I always had something to eat!  Scott was an excellent guide and photographer for our group during our excursions off of the boat.  Together, they made the entire trip stress free and more enjoyable then I could have ever imagined!  Without a doubt, I would recommend a vacation on the Sol Seeker with Captain Scott and Chef Nikki!

Hospitality Second To None!

We scheduled our trip with Sol Seeker after reviewing several boat profiles. We felt Captain Scott and Chef Nikki fit the bill of the crew we would connect with and we were right! 



Captain Scott was a great captain but also a fantastic land guide, taking us on hikes around the Bathes, the bubble pool, “Treasure Island” and Annaberg Plantation. His excitement to teach us SkullKing (such a fun game), set up movie night (& Reacher night!!) and share his historical & science knowledge sparked our excitement for all too!



Chef Nikki’s meals were everything we expected and more. The Ahi tuna nachos were my absolute favorite but all the meals were delicious (pork loin, Shakshuka, pancakes, quesadillas….the list goes on). Every morning we woke up to coffee and a beautiful plate of fresh fruit. Nikki also has a wealth of knowledge about the Islands for all the questions we threw at her. Fun fact, Chef Nikki is also a captain so you can feel safe having 2 experienced captains on the boat!



Scott and Nikki are Owners & Crew for the Sol Seeker so, the hospitality they show you while inviting you into “their home” was second to none!



I would highly recommend the “sleep aboard” option if available for your trip. We arrived the afternoon before our scheduled trip, but were able to sleep on the boat and get acquainted with Scott and Nikki that evening before setting sail. 



Also, Nikki was more than willing to get airport transportation set up for us so we just had so show up! Both of these as well as making dinner reservations for us for that night, helped make travel day less stressful!!

Unforgettable BVI Catamaran Adventure Aboard Sol Seeker with &Beyond!



Our week aboard Sol Seeker with Captain Scott and Chef Nikki was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped onto the immaculate, well-organized catamaran, we felt at ease knowing we were in the hands of true professionals.



Captain Scott’s deep knowledge of the British Virgin Islands ensured we were always in the right place at the right time—whether it was a prime snorkeling spot, a secluded beach, or the perfect sunset anchorage. He made every day an adventure, seamlessly blending water sports, island excursions, and relaxing sail time.



Chef Nikki’s meals were wonderful! The fresh fruit each morning was a treat! Her tuna nachos were out of this world!  The rum tasting and custom cocktails were a fun and flavorful way to unwind after a day on the water!



A highlight was watching the Super Bowl right on the boat, enjoying great food, drinks, and the incredible Caribbean atmosphere. Scott and Nikki’s hospitality, expertise, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and unforgettable.

All of the meals were cooked and presented in a first class manor. We all like a variety of food and healthy food choices. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure that our requests were met and she greatly exceeded our expectations.

Eating, eating, and eating....lol Oh ya, sailing, dancing, snorkeling, swimming, diving, hiking, and history tours. The answer is truly all of the above.



And what did you like the least about this trip?

Sol Seeker crew and adventure is the best vacation I could have imagined! Nikki and Scott are amazing as owner/operators of their well-appointed, clean, and comfortable yacht. 



They listened to our preferences from the pre-trip information sheet/zoom call  and nailed it perfectly!

Nikki provided exquisite meals as the chef for the discerning food members in our group, as well as set the table beautifully each meal to go the extra mile with her details to make everything special for us. 

We celebrated my birthday, wedding anniversaries, and New Year's Eve in style with festive decorations they provided and set up for us, and her gourmet desserts were phenomenal. 



DO NOT HESITATE to book with Nikki and Scott! 



They made the trip truly perfect for us. Scott is the fearless captain, navigator of the dinghy, snorkel guide, island hiking guide, and rum/chocolate tasting expert. His easy manner and fun jokes added to our enjoyment. 



Nikki has incredible attention to detail and not only was the chef, but also made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and that the yacht stayed very clean at all times. Lastly, it is important to mention that being on a yacht for 7 nights is close living quarters, and Nikki and Scott were both conscious of preserving our privacy, while also sharing in our discoveries of all the USVI and BVI has to offer with their knowledge and experience.

Experience Of A Lifetime

Recently had the experience of a lifetime on our 7 day BVI Charter with Sol Seeker.
