SOMMER is a pristine 2022 50’ Leopard catamaran designed for effortless Caribbean cruising, combining bright interiors with exceptional outdoor living. Captain Brandon Johnson
Captain Brandon is a lifelong boater whose passion for the sea has taken him on adventures throughout the Caribbean, along the entire U.S. East Coast to Key West, the Pacific Northwest into Alaska, and across 14 countries.
With years of experience at the helm of sailing catamarans, Brandon combines confident seamanship with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of the Virgin Islands. His local knowledge helps guests discover secluded bays, pristine beaches, vibrant reefs, and unforgettable island experiences both on and off the water.
Safety is always Brandon’s highest priority, but he firmly believes every charter should be filled with fun and adventure. Whether snorkeling with marine life, paddleboarding through calm anchorages, hiking The Baths on Virgin Gorda, or enjoying sunset cocktails after a day under sail, he works to create an experience tailored to each guest.
Known for his easygoing personality and welcoming nature, Brandon enjoys sharing stories from his travels while helping guests create lifelong memories in one of the world’s most spectacular cruising destinations.

A week ago, we showed up with bags, although I'm not sure we needed any more than a swimsuit. Today we leave with salt in places we'll probably discover next week and memories for a lifetime.
Somewhere between snorkeling through crystal clear waters, squeezing ourselves through the Baths while collectively thinking, "There's no way we're fitting through that!", plane Dinga on Saba Rock like it was a professional sport, drinking lots of Painkillers at Soggy Dollar, swimming with Sally, the nurse shark, and Rigging, and rushing to watch the US soccer team in the World Cup on a boat, the days blurred together in the best possible way.
Thank you for an unforgettable week, amazing food, and views we'll be talking about long after we land!

Where do we start to describe the food? Quality for a five star Chef! Every meal was better than the last. Exceptional!
Captain Branden is a great guide to the sites into the fish snorkeling with him allowed us to see so many different fish. His attention to detail made us feel safe and catered to all our needs!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Neil and I have been to the Virgin Islands several times before this trip — charter, cruise, AirBnB — and this trip blew all the rest out of the water! I booked this charter to celebrate Neil’s 50th birthday and invited our two couple friends to join us and MAN did we have a blast!!
Despite some rainy weather for part of the trip, Captain B and First Mate Kayla made us feel safe, comfortable, and generally well-fed and quenched. This trip has been a memorable one for all of us and we will truly miss Captain B and First Mate Kayla! They are THE A TEAM!

There are no words to describe the joy this experience has brought us. You two provided us with nourishment, laughter, practical lessons and hours of enjoyment.
