Meet our Crew
Captain Lars Lindstrom
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Lars first fell in love with sailing at age 9 during a summer sailing camp on local lakes. His early passion quickly grew into leadership, eventually becoming head counselor at the same camp. After college, Lars settled in Austin, Texas, where he spent seven years working in engineering—until the sailing itch returned.
In 2012, a friend (quite easily) convinced him to buy his first bluewater sailboat in Florida. He used every vacation day exploring the Bahamas before committing to a full year-long sailing sabbatical. That journey took Lars and 34 friends island-hopping the entire Caribbean chain, from Florida to Trinidad and back, aboard a 39ft Beneteau.
Returning home, he realized desk life was no longer for him. He shifted gears and joined the professional yachting world, working as a watch leader and engineer on 100ft+ performance sailing yachts. Over the next eight years, Lars sailed extensively across the Pacific, Caribbean, and Mediterranean.
Ultimately, Lars missed the freedom and intimacy of smaller boats. Together with his partner, Jasmine, he returned to the Caribbean to run sailing charters—sharing his love for adventure and life under sail. A sailor at heart, he never misses a chance to hoist the sails and shut off the engines.
Most recently, Lars and Jasmine joined a catamaran specializing in kiteboarding and wingfoiling charters. Always up for adventure, Lars can be found teaching guests how to harness the wind—or out enjoying the breeze himself whenever conditions are right.
Chef Jasmine “Jaz” Johnson
Jasmine—known to most as “Jaz”—grew up a true East Coast baby: born in Pennsylvania, raised in Baltimore and North Carolina, and eventually joining her family in Florida. She studied exercise physiology and nutrition before moving to New York City to pursue a career in fitness. After a decade in the city, she discovered a deeper passion for travel and wellness, eventually teaching yoga around the world and opening her own studio in Key West.
From a young age, Jaz was immersed in life on the water—diving and fishing with her dad, and later learning to sail Hobie Cats with her mom in the harbors of Key West. The yachting world offered a perfect blend of her eclectic skills and passions: from hospitality and craft cocktails to her lifelong connection with the sea.
After rising to the role of Chief Stewardess on both motor and sailing yachts, Jaz made a creative leap into the galley, completing French culinary training to pursue her love of cooking professionally. Her cuisine draws inspiration from global travel, fresh local ingredients, and the nostalgic dishes of her childhood spent cooking with family.
With her warm energy, adventurous spirit, and dynamic background, Chef Jaz brings an unforgettable blend of flavor, soul, and style to every charter.

That level of kindness and responsibility goes far beyond what you expect—it truly speaks to the kind of people they are.
We were also their very first charter on their new boat, Tortuga, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for an unforgettable trip.
This was more than just a vacation—it was a memory our family will cherish forever. Lars and Jaz are two of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met, and we feel so lucky to have shared this experience with them.

Out of This World Experience!!!!!!

A WEEK AT SEA WOWEEEEEE!!!
Fantastic experience!!! Jasmine & Lars unbelievable, super couple, Jasmine a great chef, fantastic food, Lars a super captain!!!
Hard to describe the adventure. Ours tilted towards fishing. Caught and ate fish. Me caught nothing except a lot of ribbing..........................
Lars and Jasmine know their way around the Virgin Islands and took us to great places including a reggae concert!!!
Especially fun was meeting Jasmine's dad's (best friends for 50-years) friends who are now our friends.

Sailing the BVI with Captain Lars and Chef Jaz was over and beyond any of my expectations!
They were the most hospitable hosts from the moment we arrived on their beautiful, comfortable and spacious catamaran!
Captain Lars is a calm, confident and knowledgeable sailor! While fishing in the deep ocean, a storm came up with high winds and rough conditions. I felt entirely safe and at ease! It didn’t last long and was an exciting experience!
Chef Jaz creates delicious, healthy dishes at every meal!
She does her homework to make sure that the food meets her guests palate. Our group caught lots of fish which she prepared perfectly!!!
Every day brought a new fun-filled adventure in a different location…. From a reggae concert in St. John, hiking on Norman Island, exploring Anagada, seeing beautiful fish and turtles while snorkeling, the Baths, having fun with all the water toys ….
And of course the spectacular
views!!

A week with Lars and Jaz was the best! They have such good energy and are clearly a wonderful team with plenty of experience. That experience came in handy as we had a couple days of nasty weather (totally out of their control) and yet the whole time I felt entirely safe and comfortable and they didn't even bat an eyelash at the tougher sailing conditions. Also the rough weather was made easier to be bear by the great vibes and super yummy food prepared by Jaz the whole trip.
On the beautiful days they navigated us to some awesome spots where we got to play with so many different toys while exploring the area. As an example, on one of the days when we were anchored at a beautiful bay, I went out on one of the paddle boards and saw some turtles about 30 minutes in. I hurried back and grabbed some of the awesome snorkling gear and was able to find the turtles again for a magical snorkling experience!
The boat was also beautiful and comfortable with enough space to have some quiet time for reading and as well as great shared spaces to bond with friends and family.
I can't recommend Lars and Jaz enough and will definitely be back!
